Hello all!
It's been a pretty slow start to 2025, but things will be ramping up shortly!
January was the usual NAMM show, and this year I got to jam with old friends and made some new ones - still have a bunch of video to go through to post! Then I went down to El Centro, CA for Bernadette "Plazi" Plazola's Strum in the Desert and had a great time.
February was mainly private gigs and a few duo shows with Ellen Warkentine.
March brings Mardi Gras and some private gigs for the Big Butter Jazz band, and we'll be returning to Clifton's for the first time since the pandemic on Friday, March 7th. Later in the month I'll be hanging out at the 2nd annual Orange County Ukulele Festival, and hopefully jamming with ukulele/trumpet/piano wizard Casey MacGill.
On Sunday April 13th Big Butter will be playing for the first time at the Dapper Day Expo at the Disney hotel. Sets at 1 and 4pm, advance tickets available now!
More details on the rest of these events later, but here's a quick summary of what I have coming up later this year:
May - teaching / performing at Centrum Ukulele Week in Port Townsend, WA
June - teaching / performing for the UkeWest online festival
July - teaching / performing for the Midwest Ukulele and Harmonica Camp (bass / ukulele bass)
- teaching / performing at Centrum Acoustic Blues Festival in Port Townsend, WA
October - teaching / performing for the Reno Ukulele Festival
